Here's a birds eye view:

• Initial meeting: If you are interested in building a home let's meet! We can have a cup of coffee and talk about building houses.
• Design Process: Once you are commitied to build, you should purchase your land. We also have a small deposit credited toward the cost of your home to begin our design process. Here all the details of your new home are dialed into a final contract price. From creating the plan to the cabinet hardware, every detail is covered.
• Contract to Build: Through the design process, we create the contract to build your new home. This is the turnkey price to complete your project. After contracts and financing are complete your project is placed on our foundation schedule. 

Here's a birds eye view:

• Permitting (1-5 weeks): The first part of building your home is is getting all the permits. Usually it goes quick and smooth, but sometimes there can be unexpected bureaucratic delays. 
• Excavation and Foundations (3-6 weeks): We do our own excavation and foundations. Our concrete foreman has been in the business for well over 30 years.
• Framing and dry-in (4-8 weeks): At this stage, everyday new big changes are happening. Suddenly there is a house.
• Rough-in (4-8 weeks): During the rough-in phase, all the guts of your home are installed. It's a tightly sequenced series of many different parties and inspections, but often seems uneventful to the homeowner.
• Insulation to primer (4-8 weeks): At this point the guts are covered and any changes tend to increase in cost. But, it's starting to feel like a house. 
• Interior Finish (8-16 weeks): Now, the details of your home start coming to life, and decisions we made ages ago now come to fruition.
• Exterior Finish: Exterior finish happens all throughout the build
